History and Natural Beauties belezas naturais

Leaving the center of Itamonte, we will visit one of the prettier and historical agricultural quarters of the City, Engenho de Serra with rock stone pavement. A gorgeous appearance of the Rock of the Picu (referencial landmark of the city).

      Engenho da Serra: We will visit the large house that served of rest in the passage of the Real Road for the Isabel Princess and the Conde D'Eu. We will also be able to enjoy  a mineral water source,. Next to Engenho de Serra, we will make a stop in the Handcraft House. Return to the Center of Itamonte where we will visit the chapel of São Francisco de Assis where the Isabel princess attended mass.

Going inside for land roads, 7 km of the city, we will visit the Plant of the Braga. Where we will be able to enjoy of the beauty of the dam, of its waterfall and the Swiss-German construction of the house of machines of the plant.   

      Usina dos Braga: In this visit we will know the hidro-electric disactivated in 1962, constructed in style Swiss-German and the agricultural quarter of Usina dos Braga.

Return to the center of Itamonte where we will visit a store of meshes of Minas Gerais and a store of cheeses and candies of the region. Return to Rota Turismo or its Hotel.

Garrafão (Parque Estadual Serra do Papagaio)

Leaving downtown for the road that goes to Alagoa, we will visit the Garrafão, located in the State Park Serra do Papagaio. A pleasant stroll for Fields of Altitude where we will visit the tunnel  that the Jesuits used to deviate the river in their search for gold . Return to the center of Itamonte or its hotel
