Pedra do  Picu

   Trekking to its base. This peak was a reference to the colonizadores that comes from Rio de Janeiro towards Minas Gerais. It is protected by the law because it is part of the APA (environmental proteccion area) da Mantiqueira. We can get there by the

     A) NORTH  SIDE - FAZENDA VELHA

     level: heavy

     B) SOUTH SIDE - ENGENHO DE SERRA

     level: half heavy 

Pedra da Mina

   Pedra da Mina is the 4° highest peak, 2.798,39 meters high is the peak of Serra Fina and the best place to observe the beautiful Paraiba´s river valley, from this point we can see 7 cities. This is a very heavy one day trip

   OBS: Camping on Pedra da Mina and return the day after
